How to add movie/TV titles in a language other than English

Introduction

In the usheru dashboard, the film is typically referred to by it’s official english title. However if your site is available in multiple languages or a language other than English we understand that you will want it named with its specific locale language title. Local titles are imported into our database where available from TMDB but these can be added yourself via the dashboard.

Steps

  1. Search for our film or Tv show in the usheru dashboard database

  1. Once you have found your title, click on the pencil icon to edit and the title edit menu will open

  2. You will see the English title under information, however to make changes to the title for another language, you must go to the Translations tab. Here you can see if the tite has any other titles imported already.

  3. To add your language version, simply click the “Add Translation” button and fill out the language and add the locale title to the “Title” field.

  4. Once your translation is created you can edit it via the dashboard, but please contact clientsupport@usheru.com if you see an existing translation which you know to be incorrect.

Summary

Adding your local language title is simple via the usheru dashboard. By following the above steps and waiting an hour for the cache to clear, users will see the correct translated title for their selected language.
