Introduction
Tags can be used on your usheru Connect platform to create collections of films which can be displayed on sliders or full catalogue pages depending on your website configuration. The following steps will show you how to create a new tag and add or remove it to one of your titles.
Steps
To create a new tag to add to your films, first go to ‘Films’ in the usheru dashboard and edit a film you would like to add a tag to.
Under the “Custom Data” tab click 'Create' then go to the field Tags.
Type the name of the tag. If it is a new tag that has never been created before, click Ctrl + Enter to create it. Otherwise select the desired tag that appears.
To remove tags that already exist, follow the same steps but delete it from the tags section.
Where do the tags get used?
This depends on the configuration of your site. Your homepage video sliders may be managed by tags. Sometimes other website pages might be managed by tags too. You can identify that a page is managed by a tag if /tag/ is in the URL.
To create a URL for the tag, use your website domain and add /movies/tag/[tag-name] at the end, where [tag-name] is the name you gave your tag.
For example, www.mywebsite.com/movies/tag/holiday-favorites
