Introduction
On your usheru Connect homepage you will likely have a number of movie sliders which are used to show users specific collections of films they can slide through. These sliders can show up to fifteen posters and then a users must click ‘View All’ to be brought to the full catalogue page.
Depending on your Connect, you will typically have an In Cinemas slider that brings users to your In Cinemas page along with a streaming slider taking them to your Watch at Home page. These sliders will update automatically based upon data and do not need to be edited however if you want to add an additional slider please follow the below steps.
Steps
First decide the collection you want to create, this could be a selection of films directed by women only directors for example. Then you need to identify what films you want to be added to the slider that fit this theme.
Go the dashboard and create a tag with a relevant name like ‘Female Focus’ by going to the first film and creating a new tag under custom Movie Data as described here. Then add this tag to all of your films you want added to this slider.
Contact the Client Support team with the details:
-Name of the slider for example “Female Focus”
-List of films
-Name of the tag you created to manage the slider
Our client support team will then create the slider and within the hour the slider will populate. If you have issues tagging the films, our support team can also assist with this step
