Introduction
The buttons on your usheru Connect header and footer menu are referred to as Links and can be managed via the usheru dashboard. While small edits can be made via the dashboard we would recommend you contact client support for any more complex changes or when looking to add a new Link, so we can advise.
Steps
Go to the tab ‘Websites’ in the dashboard menu and then click ‘Links’. This will open up the links menu.

Here you can see all the header and footer links on your usheru Connect platform which are typically created during onboarding.
You can refine the links to only show Header or Footer links by filtering the ‘Position’ field and you can view the order on which they appear on your site.
2. To edit a link click the pencil icon beside the link you want to edit and it will open up this menu.
Link Name: The name of the link that appears on your website. This can be changed here directly unless you have a multi language website. If you have mutliple languages, please leave this field unchanged and contact client support.
URL: This is where the url is pointing. All internal links will begin with a /, however an external url will require the entire link. If you want to change the name of the url, but have it point users to the same page you will need to contact clientsupport@usheru.com to have this changed, as changing the url to something random yourself will bring users to an error page.
Order: This is the order in which the menu links appear on your website. It goes from lowest first to highest, we recommend using big numbers to make editing easier.
Position: Controls if the link appears in header or footer. Subheaders are actually created using the url and if you want to move certain links to appear as sub headers, please contact client support.
Visibility: Controls who can see the links on your usheru Connect. If you set this to “All” your visitors will see it, but if you change this to anonymous it will be hidden for all users. We would always recommend hiding your link rather than deleting it first.
Summary
You have full access to make changes to your usheru Connect links including creating new links, deleting or hiding them and changing their position but client support are always on hand to help. If you are looking to add a new link that brings users to an internal or externally hosted page please contact clientsupport@usheru.com so we can ensure there are no issues.
