Purpose
The usheru Select widget helps film distributors connect audiences to where films can be watched in cinemas, online, or on streaming platforms, while capturing valuable first-party audience data.
How It Works
The usheru Select widget can be embedded on any film or campaign website and configured to show Showtime data and/or Streaming data
It dynamically pulls showtime data (cinema locations, screening times, and ticket URLs) and Streaming data from usheru’s central database.
When users enter their location (city or postcode), the widget displays:
Available showtimes in the users location with direct links to book tickets on the cinema’s website
Nearby cinemas screening the film
Nearby cities which have available showtimes
If Streaming data is configured, when users select their country the widget displays:
Available Streaming Platform Logos with direct links to stream or purchase on VOD
Customization
The widget can be:
Branded with the film’s visual style (colors, fonts, logos) or the style of your website
Localized into different languages
Configured into either a date or location first format
