How-to Guide: Customizing Your usheru Select Widget Style
Introduction
Your usheru Select widget is designed to blend with your website or film branding. This guide explains how to request and update widget styling, including colors, fonts, and configuration settings, so each widget can be tailored to the look and feel of your content.
Custom styling helps maintain a consistent user experience and ensures your widget complements your site’s design. During onboarding, we will ask for your preferred:
Primary and secondary colors – these define the widget’s color scheme.
Font – choose a font that aligns with your branding.
Configuration preference – whether the widget should show date first or location first.
Starting October 2025, it’s now possible to update styling for individual widgets. If your widget went live before October 2025, enabling this functionality may require additional development, which we will discuss with you.
Once updated, you can customize the following for each release:
Primary and secondary colors
Font
Configuration (date first or location first)
Note: We cannot change the shape of buttons or make other complex layout changes. Any non-cosmetic modifications would require separate scoping.
Steps
Submit a Styling Request
Send an email to clientsupport@usheru.com with your styling preferences:
Primary and secondary colors
Font choice
Configuration preference (date first or location first)
Our team will review your request and confirm whether the update can proceed immediately or requires additional development.
Widget Update
Once approved, our team will implement the styling changes for the specified widget(s).
If you want a widget installed on a different website than usual, please notify us so we can grant the necessary permissions.
Verify the Update
After the update is complete, check your widget on your site to ensure the styling reflects your requested changes and aligns with your branding.

If you notice any issues or the styling does not appear as expected:
