If your website imports events automatically from external platforms, the series feature can also be used to keep those events organised.
How It Works
For example, we have implemented an integration that checks Ticketmaster and automatically creates events in WordPress. When the integration detects multiple listings for the same show on different dates, it automatically groups those events into a single series.
This commonly happens with:
Concerts that have several performances on different dates
Shows that run for a weekend with multiple daily sessions
Touring productions with multiple scheduled performances
With this integration:
Each performance is created as an individual event with its own date and time
All performances are automatically linked under the same event series
Visitors can easily browse all available dates for the same show
