Building for multiple devices is essential today. Responsive editing ensures your design adapts to every screen size. With Elementor Editor, customizing elements for mobile and tablet is simple. This guide shows you how to make your pages look great everywhere.

Steps

1. To edit an element for device: 

   a) Select the element you want to edit

   

   b) In the top bar, click the tablet or mobile icon you want to edit for.

   

   c) Edit the options, e.g.  the background image, the text font size. In this case, we’ll change the font size

Responsive settings are inherited by default from larger screens to smaller screens. For example, if you use a 24 point font for a heading on desktop computers, tablets will also use a 24 point font unless you use responsive editing to change the size for tablets. And if you change it to a 12 point font for tablets, mobiles will use this 12 point font unless you change it. The exception is widescreens, which do not affect any other settings.

2. To hide an element on mobile devices

An element that looks good on one screen size may disrupt another. Use the Style tab to hide elements on specific devices for a cleaner design.

1. Click the mobile icon on the top bar.

   

2. Select the Image element. The options appear in the left-hand panel.

   

3. Click the Advanced tab

4. Open the Responsive section > Enable Hide on Mobile Portrait. The image no longer shows up on mobile portrait format.
