Steps for adding a video to your player, setting availability restrictions and pricing options.
Introduction
Once you have uploaded your movie file to vimeo as detailed in this article you are ready to set up an usheru Stream option in the dashboard to allow select users to buy and rent your content directly.
Requirements
To add a uPlay video, you will need:
A vimeo 'player' link, restricted to be accessed only on your Home For Film URL. usheru may do this part for you, depending on your terms.
To decide your country restrictions (e.g. if you only have rights for this in the UK)
To decide your pricing options (e.g. price for short term rent, price for long term purchase)
Available from date and available to date
Available duration to user after purchase
Steps
Edit the film in dashboard and go to the UPLAY tab
Click Add Video and fill in the fields
Your Vimeo URL will look something like this, with numbers and letters in the brackets:

- Use the Quality and Language drop downs to select the quality and language of the film. You can add multiple versions of the video in different qualities and languages.
- You can add a captions file here optionally.
3. Once the video has been created leave the film edit menu by going to uPLAY in the dashboard menu on the left and selecting availabilities
Availabilities allow you to restrict who can access your usheru Stream content depending on what country they are in and allow you to create different prices and purchase options. Create as many availabilities as you need for this film:
Countries are the countries the video player and purchase process can be seen in
Available from date: use this to set a date from which the player will be live on your site. E.g. you can add the video now for people to purchase but it will only become available to watch from next Friday.
Available to - an end date when the video will be hidden from your site and purchasers will no longer be able to view it.
Availability duration - the number of hours a purchaser has to watch the film after purchasing.
Price - the price for this availability.
Button Label - You can set this as “rent” for a standard short term rent option and if you want to create a longer term rental or a “Buy” option name the button accordingly and set a very high availability duration.

Adding an usheru Stream option to one of your films via the dashboard is simple and easy providing you have usheru Stream included in your Connect agreement and have a valid Vimeo account. Once you have uploaded the content on Vimeo you can create players on the usheru dashboard and availabilities to control who can access this streaming option.
